Parents Attend Orientation for SY 2025–2026

Parents of Bacolod Tay Tung High School students gathered on July 5, 2025, at 9:00 AM in the Kindergarten Auditorium for the Parents Orientation for the new school year. The orientation served as a vital opportunity to strengthen home-school partnerships and to introduce key policies, programs, and expectations for the upcoming academic year.

School Principal Engr. Philip P. Carpina welcomed the parents and emphasized their right to choose the best educational institution for their children. At the same time, he reminded them that the school has the right to establish and implement policies that ensure alignment with the school’s Philosophy, Vision, Mission, and Goals (PVMGO), fostering a unified and purposeful learning environment.

Mrs. Sherille Dequiña, Vice Principal for Academics, presented the school’s academic programs, highlighting innovations, learning support systems, and curriculum enhancements designed to meet the diverse needs of students.

Ms. Jhona Mae Cabasan, Head of the Student Affairs Department, followed with an overview of student clubs, co-curricular activities, and special programs aimed at developing student leadership, creativity, and well-being.

The school’s discipline policies and procedures were also clearly laid out, promoting transparency and consistency in student management. To conclude, updates on traffic flow and security arrangements within the campus were presented to ensure the safety and orderly movement of students and school personnel.

The orientation marked a strong start to the school year, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between the school and its families in nurturing a positive and meaningful educational experience for every Taytungian.
