In the cool and misty forest of Barangay Kumaliskis, Don Salvador Benedicto, the Grade 10 Taytungians joined forces with Serviam, the schoolโs volunteer club, in a tree planting activity that became more than just a school requirement. It marked a day of special moments filled with teamwork, care, and connection on October 28-29, 2025.
Working in pairs, the students helped each other as they planted ten seedlings each. With every sapling they placed in the soil, they added new life to the land and showed their unity through their efforts.
โThe tree planting activity truly changed my perspective on these types of activities. I realized that this wasnโt just an ordinary task; it was a meaningful experience for us Grade 10 students.โ said Raica Beldeviso, Grade 10 Vice Governor. โThis experience made me appreciate the time spent with my batchmates, knowing that this could be one of our last moments together as a complete batch before we graduate. It reminded me that meaningful memories are built not only through comfort and laughter but also through shared hard work and purpose.โ
By the end of the day, the students were tired but happy. Each laugh, each seedling, and each moment of teamwork became a memory they could carry with themโone that grows not only in the forest but also in their hearts.
