Bacolod Tay Tung High School marked a meaningful milestone on June 26, 2026, with the blessing of its newly constructed Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Office, reaffirming the school’s commitment to fostering stronger collaboration among parents, teachers, and the administration.
The blessing ceremony was officiated by Fr. Lloyd Singco and was attended by Board of Trustees President Mrs. Dy Kian Bee, School Principal Engr. Philip P. Carpina, School Consultant Dr. Marie Therese Jochico, members of the school administration, and the dedicated PTA Board Officers led by PTA President Mrs. Georgine Irish Bayer.
The project stands as a testament to the collective generosity and cooperation of the Taytungian community. It was made possible through the participation of parents, guardians, and teachers, as well as the shared vision and dedicated efforts of the PTA Boards for School Years 2024–2025 and 2025–2026. Alongside the construction of the new office, the comfort rooms for parents and guardians were likewise renovated to provide a cleaner, more comfortable, and more welcoming environment for school visitors.
The new PTA Office will serve as a central venue for meetings, planning sessions, and collaborative initiatives. More than a physical space, it symbolizes the school’s enduring partnership with families and its shared commitment to supporting the holistic growth and development of every Taytungian.
As Bacolod Tay Tung High School welcomes a new academic year, the school also encourages parents who are passionate about serving the community to take a more active role in the Parent-Teacher Association. Opportunities to serve as PTA Board Officers offer parents a meaningful way to contribute their time, talents, and ideas in strengthening programs and initiatives that benefit students and the entire school community.
