A CELEBRATION OF SERVICE, TEACHER’S DAY!“Happy teacher’s day to all Taytungian mentors! we appreciate having you as our second parents. You are the inspiration behind the incredible aspirations of students like us.”Today, on the 30th of September, the Taytungian community gathered to commemorate Teacher’s day with a heart full of gratitude. Teachers from all levels felt the love, receiving flowers, chocolates, and letters from their dear students.This year’s Teacher’s Day returned to the Po Hang Gym with a blast, opened by the school’s own band, the Prima Armonia. Various performers from different grade levels also performed on the stage to pay tribute to the teachers.Six vetted teachers of the school received service awards in honor of their years in Tay Tung. The first three were Mrs. Maureen Mejica, Ms. Lanny Excija, and Laoshi Yulita Suarez, who have served in the institution for fifteen years. Laoshi Josefita Pantoja and Mrs. Jocelyn Sales then followed, both of whom have served twenty and twenty-five years, respectively. Mrs. Melba Sayman also received an award, having served thirty years in the institution. Lastly, Mrs. Helen Grace B.
