In compliance to the DepEd order to conduct lectures on Infuenza A(HINI), BTTHS conducted an information dissemination during the first day of school held at the Po Hang Gymnasium, June 8, 2009.
Ms. Ma. Eliza Fe Qui, our school nurse, informed the students and pupils about the novel virus- its mode of transmission, signs and symptoms, diagnosis, and prevention using a PowerPoint presentation during the program.
Mrs. Nilda M. Monge, the school principal, urged the teachers to continually remind the students to observe preventive measures against the infectious disease.
In the continued campaign against the virus, BTTHS provided soap for hand washing, instituted sanitation and decontamination measures using Lysol, and instructed close monitoring on status of absences among students, faculty and staff.
This worthwhile initiative will not be possible without the support of the Board of Trustees, through its president, Mr. Andres S. Valencia.
