Registration Requirements & Procedure

Requirements:
  • Accomplished Admission Application Form
  • Interview
  • Admission Test Score
  • True Copy of Birth certificate or ACR (non-Filipino Citizen)
  • One copy of Recent 1 x 1 Picture

 

Additional Requirements for Transferees:

  • Honorable Dismissal
  • Form 138 or report Card
  • Character Reference

 

Registration:

Each year level is assigned a specific date for registration.

 

Procedure:

  • Present Report Card/ Approval to Register (transferees)
  • Secure Registration Form
  • Pay Tuition
  • Pay Miscellaneous & Other Fees
  • Detach & submit completed Registration Form. Retain Admission Form for presentation to the Adviser on the first day of school.

A student is officially enrolled only after submission of completed Registration Form. Tuition fees for one year is payable in five(5) installments. All other school fees must be paid in full upon enrollment.

 

Retention / Promotion
  1. Promotion is by learning area/subject, not by general average.
  2. Failure in three (3) or more learning areas/subjects and/or its components will result to retention in the same curriculum level.
  3. Failure in one (1) or two (2) learning areas/subjects and/or its components will require a retake and passing of the subjects for promotion

 

Examinations

Generally, there are four(4) periodic examinations every year : 1 st Grading , 2 nd Grading , 3 rd Grading and 4 th Grading Examinations.

  • Students will only be allowed to take the periodic examinations upon settlement of their accounts at the Accounting Office.
  • Examination permits must be presented to the proctor before the start of the examination. The policy " No Permit, No Exam" must be strictly observed.
  • Special periodic examinations may be given due to valid reasons within one (1) week after the scheduled examination

 

Honors and Awards

1st Year - 3rd Year

To qualify for honors, a student should have no grade below 80% in both Chinese and English subjects.

Honors are determined according to general average computed up to the 3 rd decimal place. To compute the general average, the final grade of each subject including Chinese is multiplied by the number of units.

For each year level, five(5) honor students will be selected.

First Honors Medal + 100% free tuition for a year.
Second Honors Medal + 50% free tuition for a year.
Third Honors Medal + 25% free tuition for a year.
Fourth Honors Medal
Fifth Honors Medal

 

For Graduating Students

  1. Candidates for honors should have established residency in the school for at least two(2) years.
  2. General average of the last two(2) years in school shall be considered in giving weights to academic grades.
  3. Performance in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities shall be based on the student's achievement for the last four(4) years.
  4. Candidates for honors must have infracted of the minor and major offences, rules and regulations of the school.
  5. The corresponding percentages (%) shall be used in determining the valedictorian, Salutatorian and Honorable mentions in the graduating classes:
Academic 70% (50% 3rd yr. &50% 4th Yr.)
Extra-Curricular Activities 20%
Conduct 10%
TOTAL 100%

High School graduating honor students shall receive the cash equivalent of the tuition entitlement for the fourth year.

 

Grading System

The school adopts the AVERAGING system of computing the final grades.

Graduation Policies

A Fourth Year Student must pass all Chinese and English subjects and complete all the requirements of the school as prescribed by the Department of Education. He/She must be cleared from all obligations in all departments concerned before a diploma and other credentials can be issued.

Failure in and subject/subjects (Chinese and/or English) excludes the candidate from joining the commencement exercises. A summer graduate with one(1) or two(2) subjects failure is also excluded from the commencement exercises as well. A student with three(3) subjects failure is considered repeat and therefore is not a candidate for graduation. Violation of any provision of this manual automatically disqualifies a student from graduation. The committee on Academic Affairs, upon the recommendation of the Principal, has the sole authority to reconsider should violation exists.
