The Bacolod Tay Tung High School Student Council Organization seeks to promote individual student growth and personal achievement through a wide range of programs and services specifically designed to complement and enhance the educational experiences of all students enrolled at Bacolod Tay Tung High School. The BTTHS SCO provides opportunities for student involvement, student development, and experiential learning which contribute to student success and satisfaction.

The Student Council Organization serves the broader academic mission of Bacolod Tay Tung High School through programs and services that enrich the learning environment outside the classroom. To that end, the SCO offers educational and entertaining opportunities through Leadership Development Programs, Campus Activities Board, Health Awareness Program, and Community Service.

The Center promotes student growth and development and augments the overall educational process by:

  • Fostering student development by providing and supporting programs which contribute to the education of students in various developmental areas, such as cognitive and aesthetic development, identity formation, physical self, moral reasoning, interpersonal relatedness, and social perspective;
  • Assisting students with the transition into and out of the community in Bacolod ;
  • Helping remove personal obstacle, provide the information, and teach the competencies students need to benefit from the BTTHS learning environment;
  • Providing direct support and services to students to facilitate the attainment of an education;
  • Providing direct support for school programs.
 
 
 BOY SCOUT
 

Bacolod Tay Tung High School Boy Scouts Organization, is an organization of young boys of the school, whose aim is to develop individual to become a responsible leader, to inculcate in them the love of God, country and fellowmen and to become an effective communicators, happy critical and consistent learners, responsible family members and responsible citizens.

THE SCOUT MOVEMENT:
  • VOLUNTARY
    All interested students of Bacolod Tay Tung High School ( Elementary and High School) are very much welcome to join the organization.
  • NON- POLITICAL
    Scouting is not involved in any matter related to politics.
  • EDUCATIONAL
    Scouting is a non- formal education which is an organized educational activity whose aim is to develop ones capabilities.
  • MOVEMENT FOR TAY TUNG STUDENTS
    Members are gathered together in a series of activities after the class to attain the common goal that is to develop ones capabilities.
  • IN ACCORDANCE WITH PURPOSE, PRINCIPLES, AND METHOD CONCEIVED BY THE FOUNDER
PURPOSE OF THE MOVEMENT:
  • Emphasizes educational character.
  • Aim of total development of person's capabilities.
  • Development of physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual cannot be done in isolation.
  • Integrated development.
  • Scouting is not there to replace family, school, religious, or social institutions. It exists to complement the impact of these.

Objectives:
  • To give many opportunities to develop individuals to become a better person.
  • To train individuals to be able to learn ways of making friends and meeting people.
  • To let know how to make others happy by rendering services to community.
  • To train individuals to be a much better prepared individuals to take care of one self and others and shall have more self confidence.
Membership

Girls 6 to 9 years old. They should pay thirty pesos and fifty centavos as their membership fee.

Meetings

Regular meeting shall be held every Friday of each month and occasionally Saturdays during school year.

 Tay Tung Communications Bureau ( TTCB)
 

We Aim:

  1. To SERVE through this lab, a teaching -learning extension avenue of Language, Journalism and Speech classes of students in English, Chinese and Filipino.
  2. to INFORM the readers, listeners and viewers of events and related-events in and out of school.
  3. to GIVE opinions for general interpretation of significant matters and issues that will enhance learning.
  4. to educate the readers, listeners, and viewers varied forms of artistry, language and literature for aesthetic appreciation and enjoyment.
  5. to INCULCATE culturally-based and transformational values through Tri-media workshops.

Recording, project-making, dubbing and other related or inter-disciplinary activities has to be done at 4:40 to 5:00 P.M. with the permission and presence of the Lab Technician, Mr. Dominic Chavez. Those who would want to avail of the said services have to secure TTCB FORM-1 from Mr. Chavez, signed by Operations Manager and the Laboratory Technician.

RULES & GUIDELINES

  1. Observe log-in and log-out policy.
  2. No props or gadgets are taken outside of the TTCB without permission from the Operations Manager and the Laboratory Technician.
  3. Cleanliness and orderliness should be observed.
  4. Eating inside is strictly prohibited.
  5. Silence is required inside the TTCB especially during broadcast, dubbing or the like.
  6. For the scheduled sponsorship, the class leader or teacher-adviser will fill-up TTCB FORM 2 which must be properly signed by the latter. This form must be given to Mr. Chavez for file.
  7. The teacher/adviser should edit the script for broadcast, and check the songs to be played. I Hiring the broadcast time, the adviser should be around to oversee the conduct of the program. As much as possible, broadcast must reinforce or introduce a theme sponsored by a club.
  8. All the properties inside the TTCB should be protected and, with care of all the teachers and students assigned.
  9. The TTCB opens at 7:00 A.M. and closes at 5:30 P.M. The broadcast section services are on first come, first served basis while the print media section is for the use of the Clarion Staff.
