Turning Over Ceremony

Last March 2, 2007, both the Seniors and the Juniors had such a wonderful ceremony which exhibit the bond between the two year levels. It also served as their JS Prom, but to be more specific, it was called the Turning Over Ceremony. Almost 75% of the students got dressed up for the-hour program sponsored by the 3 rd year students led by Kaye Marie Yap. It was just a simple gathering with some audience, too. Some the parents, teachers, and staff witnessed it. and they were amazed with the students' fine etiquettes. The ceremony was started with a short video presentation, then followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and the prayer. After the introductions and speeches, the candle lighting took place. Everyone was paired up with one coming from a different year level boys to girls. The funny thing was about the last batch for the Junior boys were grouped with two Senior ladies. The sight indeed pleased the audience, especially when the student's sang their community song "Next in Line. When they finally went back to their seats the touching parts came. Both batches gave their video presentations which served as their to one another and this time became emotional especially to the Seniors since it is their last year in high school. After the handling down of the key of responsibility, the program was spiced with the Seniors' last will and testament which brought the whole gym laughing. Some of the seniors passed down their nicknames to the Juniors students, Finally, the hosts announce the snack time, which eventually ended the program.
