Last August 27, 208, the fourth year students from all over the Philippines took the NCAE. The coverage of this examination are Mathematical Ability, Scientific Ability, Reading Comprehension, Verbal Ability, Non-Verbal Ability, Clerical Ability, and Entrepreneurial Skills.

NCAE (National Career Assessment Examination) serves to enlighten the graduating students on what course they may take in college that best suits them. The result of this examination may also be one of the requirements in some Universities upon college admission.

Bacolod Tay Tung High School Seniors Class underwent rigid reviews for eight (8) Saturdays that started last July 6, 2008 until August 23, 2008. The review covered all the subjects learned since elementary and high school.

Examination day started with a short briefing and last-minute instructions. The NCAE lasted for about five hours and fifteen minutes, excluding breaks. Proctors were teachers from Handumanan National High School. The results of the NCAE will come out mid February next year and Bacolod Tay Tung High School hopes to be number one again in Region VI.
