Declamation & Oration Contest

Loud deafening cheers and warm rounds of applause filled the Po Hang Gym as the contestants for the Declamation and Oration Contests rendered their marvelous performances last November 28, 2006. Everyone was gathered in the gym and had witnessed the explosion of amazing talents. The contest wouldn't have been possible if not because of the sponsoring class of the 2nd Year A. The magnificent emcees, multi-talented performers and one of a kind students of the 2 nd Year A Class, together with the guidance of the adviser, Mrs. Lalaine Ematong, made everything a wonderful dream come true.

Special acting and speaking prowess were showcased during the Declamation and Oration Contests. There were six contestants who showed their unique talents in declamation. There were six contestants who revealed their special skills on Oration. All of them performed their best to the max. However, only 3 qualified for the top 3 spots in each part of the contest. In the Declamation Contest, the 3 rd placer was Denise Nicole Padilla, the 2 nd placer was Kristine Maelyn Baria and the 1 st place went to Ceasar Ditona. In the Oration contest, the place went to Katrina Ysabel Go, the 2 nd place went to Victor Philip Lumawag and finally Maureen Ledesma won the 1 st place.

The ones who didn't make it to the top must not feel bad for what matters most is that they have given their best. Indeed, with the awesome performances of the contestants, the Declamation and Oration Contests 2006 was definitely a success.
